Send leads from Blastform API to Make

🎯 General principle

When a form is submitted, the data is automatically sent to the configured URL as an HTTP request POST with the information in JSON.

Each form has its own configuration. To set it up: Settings → API Lead configuration.

📸 Configuration interface

The page API Lead Configuration it comprises 3 main zones:

  1. URL* The address to send the data to (required).
  2. Secret key (Bearer Authentication) : To secure the delivery (sent in the headers).
  3. Field mapping : Mapping between your form fields and the JSON names.
  • Left column : The form field (e.g. Last name, Email, Mobile phone)
  • Right column : The name that will be sent in JSON (e.g. nom, email, mobile_phone)
  1. Secret key (body) : Optional key sent in the request body.

💡 You can add as many mappings as needed with the button + Add a field.

When to use it? To automate delivery to several tools without coding (CRM, Google Sheets, emails…).

💡 With Make, the long, complex URL serves as security - no Bearer key is needed.

General steps in Make

  1. Create a scenario.
  2. Add a module Webhooks → Custom webhook → Copy the generated URL.
  3. Paste the URL into the field URL* of your interface.
  4. Configure field mapping (name, email, mobile_phone).
  5. Test (submit form) → data visible in Make.
  6. Complete the scenario (e.g. Google Sheets, Gmail, Slack...).

  • Webhook (trigger) → Filter (check email exists) → Google Sheets (add row) → Gmail (notification) → Slack (team alert)
